We have a full-time FIFO (Fly-In- Fly-Out) Breakfast Chef opportunity based out of Perth, Western Australia. You'll be working on a 2/2 roster, providing exceptional culinary services to our client in the Pilbara region of WA.

If you have a proven bulk cooking background, have fly-in-fly-out experience and can work well under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen catering for up to 300 residents on your own with the support of a kitchen hand, then we would love to hear from you

The Role
  • Prepare high-quality breakfast, crib lunch and desserts for up to 300 residents on site (working permanent nightshift)
  • Ensure food presentation, product presentation and meal service are to standard
  • Work within budgeted food costs
  • Maintain minimal food wastage
  • Maintain high quality food safety and hygiene standards

Skills and experience required:
  • Minimum 3 years' experience as a Chef, with a strong background in remote site or FIFO catering
  • Formal culinary qualification - minimum (or equivalent) Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
  • Food Safety for Supervisor's Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
  • RSA
  • National Police Clearance - minimum 6 months
  • Ability to keep to a budget and keep accurate records
  • Good organizational and communication skills
  • Understanding of Food Safety principals and the HACCP methodology
