Sands Fridge Lines is seeking a motivated and experienced Quality Compliance Officer to champion food safety, compliance, and quality standards across our warehouse and transport distribution operations. This is a hands-on role where you'll work closely with supervisors and section leaders to maintain SQF and HACCP systems, drive continuous improvement, and uphold our strong industry reputation.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and improve SQF, HACCP, and Quality Management Systems in our warehouse and transport distribution network.
- Conduct internal GMP and food safety audits; lead external audits
- Monitor hygiene, food safety, allergen management, and temperature compliance
- Investigate non-conformances and implement corrective actions
- Develop and deliver compliance training and toolbox meetings
- Prepare and enforce food health and safety policies
- Collaborate with management on emergency action plans and compliance reporting
About You
- Tertiary qualifications in Food Science, Food Technology, Microbiology or equivalent (highly desirable)
- Demonstrable exposure and understanding of HACCP / SQF quality compliance practices in the transport, distribution and storage of perishable goods.
- Strong understanding of HACCP, SQF, and GHP principles
- Experience implementing and monitoring Quality Management Systems
- Skilled in internal/external audits and compliance investigations
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time management skills
- Warehousing, Transport and distribution experience required
