Location: Tuggerah, NSW

About United Supports
United Supports is a disability support provider on the Central Coast, committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred care under the NDIS. With a strong and growing team of over 50 support workers and 15 office staff, we pride ourselves on being hands-on, professional, and united in our mission to empower participants to live safely, independently, and with dignity.
About the Role
We are looking for a driven and reliable NDIS Supports Assistant Manager to join our team. This is not just a desk job — you will be directly involved in rostering, staff support, administration, and frontline service delivery. When the NDIS Supports Manager is away, you'll step up to keep things running smoothly.
At United Supports, we see ourselves as a big family. We work hard, back each other up, and celebrate wins together. We're invested in putting time and training into the right person — someone who wants to grow their career, who values being part of a team, and who understands the importance of what we do every day.
This is a growth role suited to someone who can take feedback, adapt quickly, and isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves. We set high expectations — if a shift needs to be covered, a call answered, or a problem solved, we expect you to step in confidently and support the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain accurate staff rosters, proactively filling vacant shifts.
- Communicate clearly with staff and participants about roster changes, appointments, and client routines.
- Approve daily timesheets, allowances, and expenses.
- Assist with client intakes, documentation, and care planning.
- Conduct staff interviews, support onboarding, and schedule supervision sessions.
- Provide admin support to the NDIS Supports Manager, including filing, compliance documentation, and case note audits.
- Lead by example: participate in the rotating after-hours on-call roster and be ready to step onto the floor if required.
- Support team training, meetings, and disciplinary processes where needed.
- Relieve the NDIS Supports Manager during leave to ensure continuity of service.
- And most importanty, play a part in organising amazing supports for each and every participant
Skills & Attributes
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication — both verbal and written.
- Ability to multitask, adapt, and prioritise under pressure.
- A proactive attitude with the confidence to take direction and act on feedback.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including after-hours on-call.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience in disability support, rostering, team coordination, or administration (highly regarded).
- Knowledge of NDIS compliance and disability services (preferred, but not essential).
- Current First Aid & CPR.
- Current Police Check, WWCC, and NDIS Worker Screening.
- Current Australian Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle.
- Tech-savvy: comfortable with ShiftCare, WhatsApp, Microsoft Office, and quick to learn new systems.
What We Offer
- Supportive, professional, and welcoming team environment
- Opportunity to grow your skills in leadership and community coordination
- Immediate start available
- Convenient Tuggerah location
