About the role

Havendoor mental health and disability support services is seeking an experienced NDIS Support Coordinator to join our team in Orange and Dubbo NSW. This part-time role will be responsible for providing high-quality coordination of NDIS supports and services for our clients, ensuring they receive the care and assistance they need to live independently.

What you'll be doing

  • Develop and implement individualised NDIS support plans for clients, in collaboration with them and their families
  • Coordinate the delivery of various NDIS-funded supports and services to clients, including allied health, personal care, and community participation
  • Monitor and review client progress, adjusting support plans as needed to ensure they continue to meet client goals and needs
  • Advocate on behalf of clients to ensure they receive appropriate NDIS funding and access the services they are entitled to
  • Liaise with a range of stakeholders, including NDIS planners, service providers, and community organisations
  • Maintain detailed client records and documentation in line with NDIS requirements

What we're looking for

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in a field such as social work, occupational therapy, or disability services
  • Minimum 2 years' experience as an NDIS Support Coordinator or similar role
  • Strong understanding of the NDIS and the ability to interpret legislation and guidelines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and negotiation skills
  • Proficient in using client management software and technology
