Total Tools is looking for a Full-Time Sales Representative to work between 2 locations of Shepparton and Echuca. Reporting to our Business Development Manager you will be tasked with being the face of the business. Out amoung the trade customers working on improving the customers efficiency by selling them the correct tooling to get the job done in the best way possible.
Selling all brands and adapting to all customer needs while still delivering profitable results for the business.
Commercial and account growth will be your main goal. Driving sales on the road looking to service New and exsisting customers. This role requires someone who can work Autonomously and achieve results.
What will you be doing?
Customer Service
- Provide advice and information on products
- Handle customer & supplier queries, in person and over the phone, and offer solutions
- Train all Store Team Members on customer service standards for Account Customers
- Resolve any complaints or refer to Store Manager / Store Owner for resolution \
- Organise the despatch of customer special orders and item delivery
- Building solid working relationships and developing rapport with key stakeholders/accounts
- Liaising with, and finding solutions for current and potential clients
- Developing and implementing sales plans and initiatives
- Effectively managing your diverse customer base
- Analysing sales and customer data to identify new opportunities
- Attracting new customers in addition to growing existing business- you will be comfortable cold calling as required
- Achieving sales, margin, and product mix targets
Sales & Account Management
- Actively seek to introduce the business to new customers on a weekly basis, and promote business growth.
- Prepare objectives in conjunction with the Owner annually and review monthly
- Set appropriate business unit objectives and review monthly
- Monitor performance of sales for each account
- Ensure that group guidelines are followed, particularly in relation to customer service
- Maintain effective communication with the Store Owner / Franchisee
- Be aware of competitor activity and advise Store Manager accordingly
- Arrange for regular and ongoing visits to key account customers including the creation and maintenance of a call cycle.
- Increase transaction values, including items per transaction, through effective sales techniques, initiative and utilising opportunities. Sales and Margin figures should be monitored and incremental targets met.
Does this sound like you?
- Previous retail and/or sales experience
- Proven ability to achieve and exceed targets
- A strong ability to develop and maintain B2B relationships and influence decision-making
- Strong work ethic and 'can do' attitude
- Organised with excellent time management skills
- Self-motivated with an ability to work autonomously, as well as in a team
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an eye for detail
- Comfortable with technology – computer literacy is a must, with a professional phone manner
- A comprehensive understanding and previous experience in the trade and industrial sector an advantage
