Port Lincoln Hire is seeking a qualified Diesel or Auto Mechanic that can also assist customers with their equipment solutions.

We are flexible to accommodate full time or part time, with the preference of full time.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Carry out basic servicing on a range of equipment
  • On and Off hire a range of equipment
  • Ensuring compliance, functionality, and reliability of all plant and equipment
  • Coordinate daily operations - equipment deliveries, transfers, pick-ups, repairs & breakdowns.
  • Identify & respond to customers needs in person and by the phone & email
  • Complete a variety of office administrative duties - generate hire schedules, invoicing etc.

Skills & Experience

  • Proven Mechanical experience
  • Have a friendly & sociable personality
  • Be a quick learner with a high level or attention to detail
  • Have intermediate computer skills
  • Ability to read and interpret service manuals
  • Experience in previous customer service role (desired but not essential)
  • Unrestricted driver's license
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and under pressure
  • Good time management and communication skills
