Diesel Technician

WSB Distributors has opportunities for experienced & qualified Diesel Technicians in the South East and Murray Mallee.

This is a mobile service role, with successful applicants based from home, supported by WSB branches in the Riverland and Murray Mallee, along with the team at our head office in Clare. You will need to be able to work independently, liaise directly with customers, and be prepared to travel to jobs across the South East and Murray Mallee region.

We are looking for qualified diesel techs who are experienced in agricultural machine repairs and are 2–3 years out of their apprenticeship. However, if you have recently completed your apprenticeship and have proven abilities within your trade, we want to hear from you.

The successful applicants will be motivated, able to work autonomously, and understand the importance of providing a professional experience from start to finish. Building strong connections with customers and representing WSB with reliability and trust is essential.

You will also value teamwork, working closely with our branches and the broader WSB team.

Key responsibilities

- Diagnose and repair a wide range of agricultural machines
- Work independently in the field while staying connected to the WSB team
- Travel to service jobs across the South East and Murray Mallee region
- WSB encourages all employees to share their experience and knowledge, take on new challenges, and deliver the high level of customer service our clients expect.
- An automotive air conditioning licence and HC licence would be advantageous but are not essential.
- Experience with hay and harvest highly regarded—we’re focused on finding the right person to join our team.

Qualifications

- Experience in agricultural machine repairs, 2–3 years out of apprenticeship or recently completed apprenticeship with proven abilities
- Ability to work independently, liaise with customers, and travel across the region
- Motivated, autonomous, professional demeanor, and strong customer service
