About the Role
LOLOMA Community Care is currently looking for compassionate, reliable, and motivated Support Workers to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will provide both community-based and residential support, ensuring participants feel safe, respected, and empowered in their daily lives.
Key responsibilities for this position include:
- Supporting participants with daily living, personal care, and independence skills.
- Providing emotional, recovery-focused support.
- Assisting with grocery shopping and meal preparation.
- Assisting with the implementation of positive behavior support.
- Working collaboratively within a supportive, values-driven team environment.
Qualifications:
- Certificate III in Disability or equivalent experience or working towards it
- Experience working in Disability Care within the community setting.
- Sound understanding of Aged Care and Disability Quality Standards and quality management systems.
- Full Australian working rights and ability to pass a national police clearance.
Job Type: Casual
Pay: $31.76 – $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 per week
Work Location: In person
