We're seeking a QHSE Manager to join our team and lead the implementation and maintenance of our Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental (QHSE) systems across our ACS operations.
About the Role
The QHSE Manager is responsible for ensuring ACS meets the highest standards in safety, food quality, and environmental management across our catering, housekeeping, and facility operations. This role supports remote site teams to deliver safe, compliant, and efficient services through the application of company systems, procedures, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee the implementation and continual improvement of ACS's QHSE Management System, ensuring compliance with ISO, HACCP, and company requirements.
• Drive the execution of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and HACCP controls across all food service operations.
• Plan, coordinate, and lead annual external audits for ISO and HACCP certification, ensuring full compliance and continual improvement outcomes.
• Conduct internal audits, inspections, and reviews to ensure alignment with ACS plans such as the Food Safety Management Plan, Quality Management Plan, and HSE Management Plan.
• Support site leaders in risk and hazard identification, incident investigation, and corrective action processes.
• Develop and deliver training, toolbox topics, and QHSE communications to build capability across remote site teams.
• Monitor and report on performance against company KPIs for safety, quality, and environmental objectives.
• Maintain and update company documentation, processes, and plans to support day-to-day operations across all sites.
• Lead continuous improvement projects to enhance safety culture, food quality, and environmental performance.
About You
You're a proactive, hands-on professional with strong leadership and communication skills, passionate about safety, food quality, and operational excellence in remote environments.
Essential Criteria:
• Demonstrated experience in a QHSE or Food Safety leadership role within catering, hospitality, or remote services.
• Strong working knowledge of HACCP principles, GMP, and ISO 9001 / 45001 systems.
• Experience coordinating external and internal audit programs.
• Ability to train, coach, and influence multi-disciplinary teams across remote operations.
• Experience conducting audits, investigations, and developing corrective and preventive actions.
• Excellent attention to detail with strong report writing and documentation management skills.
Desirable:
• Tertiary qualifications in Health & Safety, Quality, Environmental Science, or Food Technology.
• Lead Auditor qualifications.
