About the Role

Reporting to the Managing Director, this role works closely with our FIFO Site Managers, Operations Managers, and People & Culture team, supporting our national workforce.

You'll lead the implementation of Corporate Management Plans, champion progressive safety procedures aligned with WHS General Regulations, and foster a safety-first culture across all levels of the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage Food Safety and Quality Management Systems

Conduct audits to identify risks and opportunities for improvement

Ensure WHS compliance with minimal disruption to operations

Coordinate safety inspections and observations across multiple projects

Drive significant OH&S changes to meet industry and legislative standards

Lead ICAM investigations and produce high-quality reports for stakeholders

Mentor and support managers and staff in safety practices and leadership

What You'll Bring

Minimum 3 years' experience in a Safety role (Food Safety experience highly regarded)

Certificate IV in WHS (desirable)

Proven experience conducting ICAM investigations

Strong knowledge of WHS legislation and Food Safety Standards (HACCP)

Self-motivated, adaptable, and detail-oriented

Excellent communication skills across diverse teams and cultures

Willingness to travel to remote sites as required
