About the Role

As our Maintenance Manager, you'll oversee all maintenance activities to ensure our production and packaging lines operate smoothly across our 24/5 operation. This is a full-time salaried role, predominantly Monday to Friday, with flexibility across shifts and occasional weekend work. You'll lead a small, capable team, working closely with production to support business growth through safe, timely, and cost-effective maintenance solutions.


Key Responsibilities

· Develop and implement preventative and breakdown maintenance plans

· Lead, train, and mentor the maintenance team, prioritising daily activities

· Minimise equipment downtime and optimise line performance

· Manage all site maintenance and contractor activity

· Monitor and manage maintenance budgets and track spend

· Drive compliance with WHS standards, regulatory requirements, and asset maintenance

· Conduct risk assessments, develop SOPs, and ensure training is delivered and understood

· Maintain and continuously improve CMMS records and systems


What You'll Bring

· Proven experience managing maintenance within a food or FMCG environment

· Trade or engineering qualifications (Electrical licence highly desirable)

· Hands-on experience with food production equipment, including mixers, ovens, and packaging machines

· Strong leadership and team development capabilities

· Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills

· Experience with CMMS and solid Microsoft Office proficiency

· Welding and metal fabrication (TIG and CO2) experience is a bonus

· Clear communicator with strong stakeholder management skills
