About the opportunity
The Performance & Training Specialist is responsible for designing, delivering, and maintaining compliant, contemporary, and best-practice training programs across the Help Employment portfolio. Leveraging deep knowledge of employment programs, along with expertise in content development and coaching, the role equips our workforce to deliver exceptional outcomes and experiences for participants. Working closely with Regional and Business Managers and key support teams, the Performance & Training Specialist drives business performance initiatives and develops strategies, resources, and processes that enhance service quality and organisational success.
Your key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Collaborate with the broader Employment Program teams to identify performance and/or compliance gaps and training requirements of the Employment Services teams
- Design and deliver best practice and service delivery training to team members
- Support the onboarding and induction of new team members
- Mentor and upskill teams to build capability and promote best practice
- Support key compliance requirements ensuring content and training is developed in line with quality and compliance guidelines
- Analyse internal trends, issues, problems and opportunities regarding learning gaps and challenges, and deliver proactive strategies to resolve and close knowledge gaps
- Identify, advocate and embed continuous improvement of learning programs from relevant feedback and data collection
- Facilitate groups and individual sessions, in a variety of formats (online & face to face)
- Develop material including guidelines, best practice guides, and procedures to improve processes and maximise efficiencies
- Manage complex learning concerns and provide adaptable solutions which cater for varied learning styles
- Cultivate and encourage a service culture within the team and broader division that is focused on safe best practice learning programs and customer experience
- Support improvements in process and business maturity of the employment and program management function
- Ensure all learning administration tasks are completed in a timely manner, fostering a serious approach to the importance of record keeping
- Handle all matters with professional care, dignity, understanding and respect, keeping the customer central to everything we deliver
This is a Full-Time position based at: Eagle Farm
About you:
We are seeking a motivated and values-driven leader to join our Inclusive Employment Australia division as a Performance & Training Specialist. You will have a minimum of three years' experience designing and successfully delivering best practice learning programs, ideally within disability employment supports, broader employment, or other human services industries
You will also have the following:
- Strong understanding of the DES framework and its requirements, including knowledge in facilitating DES based learning to achieve operational goals and delivery an exceptional customer experience
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110) or other undergraduate study in Education (highly desirable)
- Excellent stakeholder communication and engagement skills
- Proven ability to independently review, assess and resolve complex learning challenges and adapt facilitation to ensure learning outcomes are achieved
- Experience designing and creating structured learning programs and supporting materials to deliver learning outcomes across a variety of mediums, including face-to-face, remote learning and online training modules.
- Demonstrated experience in supporting line managers and internal staff with specialist learning advice
- Ability to advise, mentor and coach internal leaders and staff at all levels of seniority
- Well-developed IT knowledge and experience in Windows and Web based applications, including specialist learning design and learning management programs
