Are you an experienced medical administrator looking for a rewarding role where no two days are the same? Join our close-knit team at the Mater Private Hospital Rockhampton Emergency Care Centre, part of Private Emergency Health Australia (PEHA), Australia's leading provider of private emergency medicine services.

As Senior Medical Administrator, you'll play a vital role supporting the Lead Practice Manager and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our busy emergency department. You'll work closely with doctors, hospital teams and our PEHA Operations team to keep everything running efficiently from rostering and billing to patient service and quality improvement.

What you'll do


• Support the Lead Practice Manager with daily coordination of emergency department operations.


• Manage doctor schedules, travel, onboarding and compliance documentation


• Process Medicare, WorkCover, DVA and private billing accurately and efficiently


• Handle receipting, reconciliation and debtor management


• Provide friendly, professional support to doctors, patients and hospital stakeholders


• Assist with end-of-month reporting, data entry and performance tracking


• Contribute to quality and safety initiatives and continuous improvement
