Full time on the road
$80,000 super huge commissions
Are you an eager sales specialist looking to prove yourself and progress in an open-minded company? Do you have an interest in education, furniture or design?
At Beparta, we design and manufacture furniture for flexible, learner- and teacher-centred solutions. You will be working with everyone from state education officials to principals and classroom teachers.
We are a small enough company that you can use your skills and experience to make a big impact, but we also have 10 years' experience successfully delivering large furniture projects across Australia and internationally, so we can offer you plenty of support and guidance.
We've never been a traditional, conservative, corporate business - even our competitors acknowledge we approach every aspect of the business differently. We're looking for an outgoing person who can fit right in
Your responsibilities will include:
- Visiting schools to strike up conversations with School Administration Managers, Business Managers and Principals
- Making sales calls – mainly in person but also by phone, via teams and following up by email
- Offering space planning advice (we can help you learn space planning but an interest in design would be helpful)
- Creating a strong rapport with clients and providing a high standard of customer service in person, by phone and via email
- Taking responsibility for accurately documenting your school visits, including passing on all information learnt to the design, internal sales and operation teams
Your attributes:
- A passion for sales, high motivation and continuing confidence in your sales abilities
- Excellent personal presentation and speaking manner
- Highly professional written communication and email skills - excellent grammar and spelling is required
- Quick learner, able to rapidly recall the details of our large furniture range
- Comfortable working in a team or alone: you are self-managing, with a strong work-ethic
- Able and willing to travel around Sydney and (less frequently) to selected regional areas
- Ability to receive feedback in an open-minded and professional manner
- Flexible and positive attitude, able to adapt to changing environments
- An interest in pedagogy and schooling in Australia would be highly regarded
- Willingness to participate in quality assurance activities – we are an ISO 9001 and 14001 certified company
Your experience and education:
- Completed a tertiary degree
- Minimum 3 years relevant sales experience (may include periods of part-time work)
- Experience selling designer or specialist products will be highly regarded
- Interest in furniture or interior design will be well regarded
