About Us

ACS Australian Construction Services is a family-owned civil contractor delivering civil infrastructure projects across various sites in the Eastern states of Australia. We are currently seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to join our local (Gympie) or site-based team on a full-time basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop a career in civil construction within a supportive and growing business.


Key Responsibilities

• Assist in delivering civil projects to time, cost, and quality expectations

• Support tendering, estimating and cost planning processes

• Ensure implementation of construction activities in line with plans, designs and specifications

• Participate in daily site operations and reporting

• Maintain accurate project documentation and QA records

• Support WHS and environmental compliance on-site

• Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers and clients as required


Requirements

Essential:

• Completed or currently studying a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering

• Strong attention to detail and time management

• Understanding of Safety, Environmental and Quality Assurance requirements

• Effective verbal and written communication skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Primavera P6

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

• Self-motivated, team player, and willing to learn

Highly Desired:

• 3yrs + experience in civil construction projects

• Knowledge of ISO 9001, 45001, and 14001

• Familiarity with roads, earthworks, retaining structures, and drainage

• Understanding of local government and state infrastructure standards

• Prior experience on local council projects
