About the Role:
Join our team working on an exciting solar farm project in the Fraser Coast region We are seeking an experienced and motivated HR Water Cart Driver to assist with dust suppression and water management on-site. This is a great opportunity to contribute to a sustainable energy initiative while working in a dynamic and supportive environment.
- 6 days pw Monday to Saturday
- Approx 6-month contract
- 10-hour days
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain HR-class Water Cart trucks for dust suppression and water distribution across the solar farm site.
- Ensure safe driving and vehicle operation in compliance with site and company safety standards.
- Perform daily pre-start checks, basic maintenance, and refueling of the Water Cart.
- Collaborate with site supervisors to coordinate water delivery schedules and priorities.
- Follow strict environmental and workplace health and safety (WHS) guidelines.
Requirements:
- HR (Heavy Rigid) Licence – Mandatory.
- Previous experience operating Water Carts on construction, earthmoving, or civil projects (solar farm experience advantageous but not essential).
- Valid Construction White Card – Required.
- Strong understanding of WHS and environmental compliance.
- Ability to work in a team and adapt to site requirements.
- Flexibility for project-based hours, including some overtime as required.
