The Role

As an Education Leader at Little Stars Childcare, you will be a key figure in shaping the educational programs and experiences for our children.

Key Duties

  • In-depth understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and the National Quality Standard to ensure the implementation of best practices.
  • Capacity to guide, mentor, and support a team of educators, fostering a culture of professional reflection and continuous improvement.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with educators, families, and external agencies.
  • Proven experience in planning, implementing, and evaluating high-quality educational programs.
  • Demonstrated capacity to reflect on practices, seek feedback, and actively engage in ongoing professional learning.
  • Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with families, children, colleagues, and the broader community.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma of Early Childhood Education or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Australian Children's Education & Care Quality Authority (ACECQA).
  • A current and valid Working With Children Check or the ability to obtain one.
  • First Aid Certificate, including training in asthma and anaphylaxis.
