Our psychologists support a broad range of presentations, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and grief, and we're nationally recognised for our expertise in working with the neurodivergent community (including ADHD, Autism, and acquired brain injury).

As a Professional Psychology Assistant you'll play a key role in keeping the practice running smoothly while supporting clinicians to do what they do best: helping people thrive. For those who demonstrate the true "thinkfree spirit", opportunities for growth and new challenges await.


Role Overview

As our Professional Psychology Assistant (PPA), you'll mix:

  • Administrative & client-facing tasks — Reception, intake, bookings, client enquiries, diary management, invoicing & claims, maintaining client records.
  • Clinical support & project work — scoring psychometrics, formatting reports, preparing therapeutic resources/worksheets, supporting NDIS documentation, assisting with observations, data collection and psychology assistance.

For candidates who demonstrate skill and professionalism, there are additional opportunities at the organisation with increased exposure to client-related work.


What You Bring

Essential

  • Psychology undergraduate OR honours student (or recent graduate)
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Excellent organisation, time management, and prioritisation abilities

  • Tech competency (MS Office, data templates, other software systems)

  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and collaborative attitude

  • Positive energy, warmth, and enthusiasm.
  • Eagerness to learn, take initiative, and work both independently and collaboratively

Desirable (or willingness to learn):

  • Experienced in health/medical admin
  • Exposure to psychology or allied health settings
  • Familiarity with Medicare, NDIS, or mental health compliance
  • Tech-savvy
  • Experience in clinical or research support (data entry, resource development, psychometrics)

Work Schedule

Our clinic operates Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 8 PM and Saturdays from 9 AM to 4 PM.

We're looking for someone who can commit to a minimum of 2 - 3 days per week.

We are open to discussing Part-Time and Casual working arrangements for the right candidate.
