Watch Us Grow Early Learning Centres (Menai) is looking for an experienced Early Childhood Teacher or Early Childhood Leader that is passionate about seeking best practices in children’s learning and curriculum; committed to professional learning and development; and dedicated to mentoring educators.

The role would require you to work closely with the current Centre Director and be part of our leadership team. In your role, you would assist in the management of the operations of the service in line with relevant regulations and procedures. You will perform the role of acting Director in the Centre Director’s absence.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Work alongside the Nominated Supervisor in the running of the service
- As the Educational Leader, develop, plan and implement a quality program that reflects the Early Years Learning Framework
- Mentor and guide less experienced staff within the centre
- Monitor and document children's progress & individual children's portfolios
- Develop open communication channels with staff, children and families of the centre
- Contribute to the effective operation of the workplace by supporting colleagues, sharing ideas and information, & working as a good team player
- Comply with the centre's policies and procedures along with licensing, legislation & regulations
- Assisting children with their daily routines & support them in their learning
- Create a stimulating environment to foster & support children's development

**About you**:

- ECT, Working towards ECT or Diploma in children's services
- Previous management experience (desired but not essential)
- A clear understanding of the national law and regulations
- Experience in a leadership and mentoring role
- Knowledge and understanding of Children's Services Regulations and
- National Quality Standards
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lead, inspire and motivate a team of educators
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Passion, enthusiasm and a strong commitment to high-quality care
- Current Working with Children check, First-Aid Certificate, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training

*Pay rate included in advertisement is negotiable and dependant on applicants level of training and experience.
