Business Trainee - Entry-Level Opportunity (12-Month Maximum Term)

Based at one of our Perth locations, this full-time traineeship offers hands-on experience and a nationally accredited Certificate III in Business. Ideal for recent school leavers ready to take the first step into the workforce
Your Role in Action
- Complete a Certificate III in Business while gaining practical experience
- Provide administrative support across various business units
- Assist with data entry, document management, and reporting tasks
- Deliver excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders
- Learn and apply safety, operational, and technical procedures
- Collaborate with team members to meet deadlines and business goals
- Participate in development workshops and mentoring sessions
- Uphold Western Power's values and contribute to a positive workplace culture
What Makes You a Great Fit
- Recently completed Year 11 or Year 12, or graduated in 2023 or 2024.
- Some experience (paid, volunteer, or school-based) in admin or customer service
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Willingness to learn, reliable, and punctual
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Minimum C grades in Year 10 English and Maths (or equivalent)
- Reside in WA and be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
