Strategic Operations Manager

ROLE:
Centre For Accessibility Australia (CFA Australia) is seeking a Strategic Operations Manager. This role works directly with the CEO to provide management support across the operational areas of Centre for Accessibility Australia with a particular focus on supporting the auditing and helpdesk team, identifying process improvements and providing operational strategies for new growth areas of service delivery. The successful candidate will have a passion for meeting the digital access needs of people with disability, good understanding on how to support people with disability in the workplace and an understanding of associated assistive technologies used by people with disability. The role is part-time for a fixed term contract of 12 months with the possibility of an extension, and salary packaging is available due to the organisation's charity status.

The Centre for Accessibility Australia (CFA Australia) is a disability lead, award-winning not-for-profit organisation that promotes accessibility throughout Australia. Our current focus is the incorporation of digital accessibility, so that people with disability can have equal access to technology and the internet. Founded in 2018, the Centre was established to promote the accessibility movement through advocacy, research, training services, auditing services and celebrations such as the Australian Access Awards.
CFA Australia supports people with disability both directly, through the production of resources and a helpdesk, and indirectly by supporting mainstream organisations such as government agencies, corporates or education providers to become accessible.

MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS ROLE:
· Supporting the CEO through the effective management oversight for operational requirements
· Manage the staff in the helpdesk and auditing services areas
· Provide and implement operational strategies relating to the growth of new service delivery opportunities.
· Perform reviews of data analytics and improvements of data processes.
· Support the work and development of other CFA Australia staff
· Support the CEO in the development of policies, procedures and emerging projects
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Essential Skills:
· Management experience associated with ICT, business, Occupational Therapy or Marketing fields
· Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
· Organised and able to meet deadlines
· Familiarity with the W3C Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Standard
· Tertiary qualification in an ICT, business, Occupational Therapy or Marketing related field or relevant experience
