About the Role

We're looking for a dynamic and experienced Community Development professional to drive the delivery of programs that empower communities.

In this leadership role, you'll:

• Champion a capacity-building approach, supporting local stakeholders and service providers to grow their impact.
• Coordinate the delivery of programs that strengthen community wellbeing — including Youth Services, Healthy Communities and Volunteers
• Lead strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, policy development and contract management to deliver quality outcomes.
• Manage the City's Sister City Program with Adachi-Ku, Japan, including annual cultural exchanges.

About You

You're an experienced leader who brings a passion for people and community.

You'll also bring:

• Tertiary qualifications in Community Development, Social Services or a related field or equivalent relevant experience.
• Strong experience leading teams to deliver community programs and partnerships.
• High level interpersonal skills to build and maintain partnerships and relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
• A collaborative mindset and confidence managing multiple projects and priorities.
• Flexibility to travel internationally for the Sister City exchange program.
