You will be a highly motivated, passionate, and ambitious team player who seeks to continually improve the way they and their teams work. You live the motto of practicing what you preach by driving outstanding results and delivering the best experience to our employees and customers.Working within a dedicated team of professionals, this position is hands-on and will assist in transforming and improving the group approach to problem solving and effective and efficient delivery through the use of Agile, DevOps and Design Thinking practices.As an Agile Business Analyst, you will be involved in the software engineering process through:Driving, validating, and assisting the prioritisation of enhancement, project, and business as usual (BAU) support scopeCompiling coherent Features, Use Cases, Acceptance Criteria, Process Maps/Flows, Storyboards, and Iterative Releases.Contributing to design discussions in-line with BMD's architectural direction and BMD's DigiLead roadmap.Work closely with all stakeholders and the Development team to deliver sprints with a seamless customer value focus.The successful candidate will have the following attributes:Innovative and questioning nature to explore ideas and prototype solutions.An interest in business solution development with an understanding of design principles, digital and technology.Demonstrated experience leveraging agile and coaching stakeholders to assist adoption.Experience in working within a team that supports the delivery of both planned work and reactionary work (i.e., operational support).Demonstrated ability to model technical change, user stories and processes, experience in implementing process change and producing supporting documentation.4+ years demonstrated experience working in agile software development teams (Scrum or Kanban) and engaging stakeholders and subject matter experts in agile delivery techniques.Experience in the analysis of both business processes and the design of technology-based solutions.Experience in the Agile BA skillset: Work breakdown, MVP, Epic > Feature > Story creation; Estimate techniques (e.g., Fibonacci, T-shirt); Storyboarding; 3 Amigos; user personas; wireframes/sketches; etc.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required.You may also have the following additional desirable skills:A Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or related fieldPrevious experience in construction and processes and experience working with systems will be highly regarded.In return, we offer a rewarding long-term career, opportunities to develop, and a culture that values your contribution.
