About the Role:
As the Workplace Learning Coordinator, you will liaise with businesses and other organisations to source and negotiate new workplace learning positions (internships) for students and manage the relationship between students and employers. You will play a leading role in ensuring a high-quality workplace learning experience for every Business student and be able to identify business opportunities that positively impact both the student experience and the Business School.
An example of duties you may perform will include:
- Negotiating with industry professionals to develop new and nurture existing workplace learning positions that maximise student learning.
- Attending networking events to engage with businesses and expand partnerships.
- Providing career coaching to students, equipping them for the professional job market.
- Monitoring and mentoring students during their internship to ensure a valuable learning experience.
- Ensuring all necessary administration, compliance, and reporting processes are completed and accurately maintained.
This is a part-time fixed-term (until January 2027) position at a HEP 7 classification, $97,863 - $105,932 (pro rata) plus 17% superannuation, working (0.6 FTE hours per week.
About the Person:
We are seeking a friendly and professional individual with a minimum of two years' experience in Work Integrated Learning (WIL) to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in securing internship opportunities and enhancing the overall WIL experience for students
Your ability to build and nurture strong relationships with industry partners, university staff, and students will be essential to your success. You take pride in providing personalised guidance and support to students throughout their internship journey, ensuring a positive and seamless experience.
