Cleaner/Kitchen Hand

The Team:

• The George Town Hospital is approximately 50km North of Launceston.
• The George Town Hospital plays a central role in the health outcomes for the community.

The Role:
Carry out and assist in food preparation and cleaning within the kitchen area, maintaining a high standard of hygiene in compliance with ASQHCS, Agency policies and other established standards and protocols.

You will need:

• Assist in the cleaning of allocated areas in compliance with Australian Safety and Quality Health Care Standards (ASQHCS), Agency policies and other established standards and protocols.
• Day to day direction and supervision provided by the Hotel Services Coordinator.

Details of appointment:
Fixed term, casual, position working as and when required, commencing as soon as possible for approximately 24 months.

Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.

Salary:
$57,130 to $62,486 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

• Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022
