The role:

Join Every Battery, Australia's leader in Batteries, Solar & Power Accessories.

We are now hiring a Retail Store Manager for our soon-to-open Seven Hills (NSW) Store.

This is a Full-Time Permanent role in a fast-growing segment with lots of opportunities to grow your career and improve your knowledge and retail sales skills.

This will be our 14th Every Battery Store, and only our second in NSW, so you will have the opportunity to help build the Store and then grow the business in NSW.

Every Battery PTY Ltd is the leading provider of batteries, Solar and power accessories. We have Stores across Australia and a reputation for excellent customer service.

We have Distribution (or Tier-1 Status) with ANBI, AMARON, CENTURY, PANASONIC AUTOMOTIVE, PURE ENERGY, VARTA, VICTRON and other leading brands.

This has allowed us to become the largest independent sales channel for many of these Brands, and positions us for continued strong growth.

We provide lots of opportunity for career progression for those who desire it. Please note your initial training will be in our Penrith Store while you become an expert in all things related to batteries & accessories.

What you'll be doing

  1. Manage and lead a team of retail sales associates to deliver outstanding customer experiences
  2. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to maximise revenue and profitability
  3. Oversee inventory management, including ordering, stocking and visual merchandising
  4. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and relevant legislation
  5. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that motivates and develops the team

What we're looking for

  1. Proven experience as a Retail Store Manager or in a similar leadership role within the retail industry
  2. Excellent customer service skills and the ability to drive a sales-focused culture
  3. Strong operational and financial management skills, with the ability to interpret and act on performance data
  4. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively lead and motivate a team
  5. Adaptable and resourceful, with the ability to prioritise and multitask in a fast-paced environment

About You:

It can be a hands-on technical role, so any experience in Batteries, Solar or Auto-Electrical would be an advantage, but full training will be provided.

You will need to be physically fit and able to lift and fit Car or Caravan batteries if required. A current Drivers License is also required.
