Job Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Store Manager to support the leadership and management of the team at our Gregory Hills store location. To succeed in this role, you will be driven by sales performance and dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service for The Base Warehouse's valued customers.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist the Store Manager in the daily management of all store employees.
  • Contribute to the development and management of weekly staff rosters in alignment with store trading requirements.
  • Assist with product reordering to ensure optimal stock levels and meet with supplier representatives.
  • Foster efficient and effective communication with both customers and team members.
  • Provide assistance with customer checkouts, including cash handling and till operation.
  • Proactively welcome customers and offer assistance in navigating our warehouse-style retail environment.
  • Develop comprehensive product knowledge to provide expert recommendations and solutions to customers.
  • Help optimise store layouts and merchandising to enhance the overall customer experience.
  • Availability to work alternate weekends.
  • Assist in ensuring a safe and compliant working environment for both staff and customers.
