Stone Mason Installer Assistant/Labourer - Casual Role

The job requires a labourer that is able to assist the main installers with installing stone to all types of residential and commercial properties. This includes but is not limited to bench tops & splash backs, fireplaces, BBQ benches and all types of stone to be installed.

The job has specific requirements including:

  • Fit & strong. Ability to confidently lift heavy stone.
  • Hold a valid white card.
  • Hold a current full drivers license.
  • Must be an Australian Citizen or have a working visa.
  • Ability to work different start times per day. Typical start times are between 6am-8am however can vary.
  • Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively.
  • Punctuality is extremely important.

The benefits/things to note about the job include:

  • You will be picked up and dropped off each day of work if you live local to Mickleham, Craigieburn, Kalkallo, Roxburgh Park etc. The job requires travel all around Melbourne and regional Victoria therefore, if you are not local to these suburbs, you will be required to meet at an address in Coolaroo and you will then be picked up and dropped back off at your vehicle at the end of the day saving you money on petrol.
  • Some days, overtime and long hours are required however, on many days an early knock off can be expected.
  • This is a casual contract however, for 2 weeks in November it will have the requirement of full-time hours and then it will be a week-by-week basis on how many hours you are required to assist.
