We are currently seeking a Casual Handyman worker / Labourer to work in a commercial retail setting, installing Low voltage Plug and Play LED lighting.

Working Monday – Friday, the successful candidate will be required to perform basic Installations & maintenance.

No experience required.

Work is Ad-hoc.

Duties will include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Installation of low voltage LED plug & play Strip Lighting (No electrical License required) within a retail store setting.
  • Travel between retail sites.
  • General maintenance, fault finding, and repairs of Strip Lighting.
  • Stock control/ Stock management.
  • Using basic hand tools.
  • Working independently and in a team.
  • Other duties as required.

Essential Criteria:

  • Hold a current Australian Drivers Licence.
  • Hold a Construction Card /White Card.
  • Hold an ABN.
  • Reliable Vehicle for travel around Victoria.
  • Maintenance / Labourer / Shopfitter experience preferred but not required.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is favourable, but not essential.
  • Be hardworking, reliable, and dedicated to learning quickly on the job.
  • Be available to travel and work away from home in various locations, around WA including the CBD, regional & coastal areas.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.

Pay: $35.00 – $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 30 per week
