Operating out of Toowoomba, we provide a wide range of efficient well intervention, production enhancement, cementing and coiled tubing services to numerous oil and gas operating companies. We are a specialist team and have built a reputation on safety, efficiency, reliability, and innovation, which include the development and implementation of new technologies

What are we looking for?

Due to significant business growth, AUSCOIL is seeking a Downhole Tools and Inspections Assistant to join our team.  Reporting to the Downhole Tools Coordinator and working from the Charlton facility, this full-time role operates on a 10/4 Roster and focuses on iron rebuilds and general yard support.

Key Responsibilities:

· Rebuilds & Certifications: responsible for iron rebuilds and maintain current certifications.

· Tracking & Compliance: Manage iron location records and ensure all field iron is within certification.

· Documentation: Maintain accurate system records in partnership with the Service Writer.

· Downhole Tools: Assist with rebuilds and coordinate spare parts availability.

· Dispatch: Support the preparation of tools for timely and accurate field dispatch.

· Rotation: Ensure tools are rotated on schedule to meet operational needs.

· Pressure Control: Assist with servicing pressure control equipment as required.

· Parts & Chemicals: Support management of spare parts and chemical stock levels.

· Field Support: Provide operational support to field teams when needed.

· Facility Maintenance: Contribute to upkeep and maintenance for optimum productivity.

· Housekeeping: Maintain outstanding cleanliness and safety standards across the facility.

This role is ideal for a motivated, hands-on individual ready to make an impact in a dynamic and growing environment.
