An opportunity has become available at Lowes Glass and Aluminum for an enthusiastic team player to join our Toowoomba based family business, manufacturing glass and aluminum products Crimsafe security systems.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to learn the glass, glazing and aluminum fabrication trades - from design, to manufacture and installation.

This role would suit a someone looking for a rewarding, long-term career in the construction trades industry.

Your main roles and duties will include:

  • Cutting, machining, assembly of Shower Screens, Mirrors, Wardrobes and Aluminum Windows and Doors, as well as Crimsafe products
  • General factory duties including organising stock, packing and cleaning
  • Maintaining a safe working environment
  • Reading and interpreting drawings
  • Assisting with onsite installations

To secure this role you will require the following skills, experience and personal attributes:

  • Effective communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Willingness to learn and further your skillset
  • Ability to work autonomously and within a team
  • Experience in the use of both hand and power tools
  • Physically fit
  • Manual drivers license required, or willing to obtain
  • White Card preferred though not essential
