We're looking for a creative
Junior Digital Graphic Designer
to join our team at our Heatherton, Melbourne office. In this role, you'll help bring our brand to life across digital channels, supporting the design and production of
sales and marketing collateral
, website content, and social media assets.

ABOUT YOUR ROLE

As a valued member of the Hinkler digital and marketing team, you play a key role in shaping the creative direction and execution of our digital and sales marketing materials. Your work spans design and rollout across all digital touchpoints — including our website, EDMs, digital campaigns, and paid media as well as the creation of sales marketing collateral and catalogues that support our commercial objectives.

You see projects through from initial concept to final delivery, whether for digital, print, or sales collateral. A sharp eye for detail, a balance between commercial awareness and creative ambition, and strong collaboration and time management skills are key to your success in this role.

WHAT YOUR DAY-TO-DAY LOOKS LIKE

  • Managing, developing, and producing digital design work and sales marketing collateral within agreed timeframes
  • Creating visual concepts and designs for digital marketing, including display ads, social media, EDMs, and catalogues with a strong emphasis on motion graphics
  • Designing website landing pages and content for third-party e-commerce platforms
  • Producing sales and promotional materials, including brochures, point-of-sale assets, and catalogues that align with marketing campaigns and sales initiatives
  • Creating photo shoots for products
  • Keeping up to date with evolving social media and design trends
  • Applying best-practice standards for each platform
  • Ensuring all creative output aligns with brand guidelines and direction

WHAT YOU BRING TO THIS ROLE

  • A tertiary qualification in Communications Design, Multimedia or a related discipline
  • Strong technical skills across Adobe Creative Suite and other creative tools
  • Excellent design sensibilities in typography, composition, colour and interactive graphics
  • A strong creative flair with the ability to ideate and develop original concepts
  • Experience designing for e-commerce, EDMs, animated display, social media, and sales collateral such as catalogues and brochures
  • A passion for creating engaging, high-quality digital and print content
  • Experience crafting campaigns across responsive web, EDMs, social media, catalogues and experiential media
  • A collaborative, team-focused mindset
