The Position

An exciting opportunity has arisen in our Marketing team for a mid-senior level Digital and Graphic Designer for a full-time position. The role is hybrid with three days a week in office in Heatherton at a minimum and two from home if desired.

Experience designing for web, digital advertising, social and email communication is a must, with previous experience in an eComm business a strong preference. You will be comfortable conceptualising and designing on-brand campaigns and managing them from start to finish. You will also be able to conceptualise and improve the customer experience in both physical retail and expo environments, with a focus on signage, POS, interactive displays and print touch points. This includes packaging design taking into account both the physical dieline and graphics to create effective marketing and educational tools.

You will have the ability to work to a high-level, across various projects both autonomously and within a team and will be proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite and Figma, with the ability to work on projects from concept through to print and/or web ready finished art. The Digital and Graphic Designer position will suit someone who enjoys working independently to a brief, as well as collaborating with other designers, members of the marketing team and external agency partners. 5+ years of experience required.

Key responsibilities in the position will include:

• Workshop ideas, and concepts for campaigns with creative flair
• Multitask and manage timelines within a deadline-driven environment.
• Adhere to brand guidelines to ensure designs build upon and reflect the existing brand identity
• Design for and build both campaign and brand-focused EDMs
• Design for web assets and landing pages
• Design for social media and digital advertising
• Basic video editing skills to be used for social asset creation
• Design for in-store and expo POS
• Signage design
• Packaging design
• Attend and assist at photoshoots, workshop photoshoot ideation, and occasionally manage post-production of images.

Qualification & Experience:

• Minimum 5 years experience in a Graphic Design role.
• A tertiary qualification in Visual Communications Design or similar.
• Strong demonstrable experience in Adobe Creative Suite, and other creative tools.
• Experience in designing digital campaigns that include but are not limited to EDMs, social media posts, paid media and web banners.
• Experience in preparing files for print.
• Experience in photoshop re-touching.
• Figma, AfterEffects and Asana experience is desirable but not required.
• High level of attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Advanced video editing
• Filming and creating reels for social media
• UX/UI web design
• Email automation
• Experience with the Dot Digital platform

Your folio must showcase examples of digital and web assets, as well as creative brand or campaign ideation and creation.
