Sydney, New South Wales, Australia Giltrap Group Holdings Limited Full time

Lead the Future of Giltrap Group's Super Luxury Aftersales

We're looking for an experienced automotive leader who's ready to relocate to Auckland and take the wheel of our Super Luxury Aftersales team. This is your chance to shape operations, inspire a talented team, and make a real impact every day.

Giltrap Prestige is New Zealand's official home for Aston Martin, McLaren, Lamborghini, and Bentley - four of the world's most iconic super luxury automotive brands. As part of the Giltrap Group, we deliver exceptional customer experiences, combining passion for motoring with world-class service and expertise. Join a team where innovation, craftsmanship, and the thrill of driving are celebrated every day.

Why Auckland?

Auckland is New Zealand's largest city and a gateway to everything New Zealand has to offer. It combines cosmopolitan living with incredible natural beauty, giving you the best of both worlds. Relocating here means embracing a lifestyle where career success and personal fulfilment go hand in hand.

  • Urban lifestyle with nature at your doorstep: Enjoy vibrant dining, arts, and culture alongside beaches, islands, and hiking trails - all within 30 minutes of the CBD.
  • Adventure every weekend: From sailing on harbour to exploring dormant volcanos and wine regions, Auckland offers endless outdoor experiences.
  • Family-friendly and welcoming: Excellent schools, a strong sense of community, and a safe environment make Auckland a great place to settle.
  • Work-life balance and wellbeing: While Auckland is a bustling city, New Zealand's culture prioritises balance, wellbeing, and time for life outside work.
  • Gateway to New Zealand: Auckland is the perfect base for exploring the rest of the country - from the Bay of Islands to Queenstown's ski fields.

About the role

As our Aftersales Manager based in Grey Lynn, Auckland, NZ, you'll be at the heart of our service and parts departments, supporting all four super luxury brands. You'll have the autonomy to shape the future of our aftersales operations, inspire a talented team, and make a real impact every day.

  • Lead the team: Recruit, train, and manage aftersales team members. Conduct regular performance reviews, set clear objectives, and support staff development through coaching and training.
  • Optimise operations: Oversee workshop scheduling, resource allocation, and inventory management. Monitor productivity, implement strategies to improve efficiency, and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Grow the business: Develop and execute marketing initiatives to promote aftersales services and parts sales. Track and report monthly trade activities and department performance metrics.
  • Champion compliance: Maintain systems and documentation to meet manufacturer requirements. Conduct regular warranty self-audits and ensure all service operations comply with dealership policies and brand standards.
  • Uphold manufacturer and brand standards: Collaborate with internal teams and manufacturer partners to meet all brand requirements, resolve technical issues, and maintain compliance and reporting standards.
  • Excel in customer service: Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through timely communication, accurate service delivery, and professional handling of enquiries and complaints. Implement customer retention strategies and promote a customer-first culture across the team.

What you'll bring

Our ideal candidate should have proven experience in a leadership role within the automotive industry. A strong understanding of the operations of a service and parts department is vital for success in this role. You should also have:

  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and inspire your team to achieve business goals
  • Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills
  • Familiarity with dealership management systems (DMS)
  • Flexibility to attend manufacturer partner events and training sessions, both locally and internationally
  • A technical/mechanical or parts background is advantageous

Why join Giltrap Group?

When you join Giltrap Group, you're joining New Zealand's leading automotive group. We provide training, ongoing support, and genuine career prospects.

You'll enjoy:

  • Competitive base salary + generous commission structure + vehicle
  • Ongoing training and development opportunities
  • Travel to attend aftersales conferences globally
  • Comprehensive health & wellbeing programme
  • A paid day off on your birthday
  • Two paid volunteer days each year
