Community Corrections services the entire Northern Territory with regional offices in Darwin, Alice Springs, Katherine and Tennant Creek with smaller offices located in Nhulunbuy, Groote Eylandt and Wadeye. We reach almost 80 communities. We are seeking expressions of interest for current and upcoming positions in our Alice Springs, Katherine and Tennant Creek offices.

A career as a Probation and Parole Officer (PPO) with NT Community Corrections is an exciting and rewarding opportunity for you to make a difference in your community.

In the role you will work as part of a collaborative and dynamic team to provide comprehensive case management to address behaviour change and ensure individuals comply with their orders and associated conditions.

PPOs work closely with community networks to maintain stakeholder relationships to facilitate access to therapeutic and rehabilitative pathways.

Community Corrections are looking for applicants who ideally have experience as a Probation and Parole officer or who:

• Have experience working with people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
• Hold strong interpersonal skills and effective working relationships with communities and key stakeholders.
• Demonstrate resilience, integrity and problem-solving skills.
• Possess excellent organisational skill with ability to manage competing priorities.
• Communicate with highly developed written and oral skills.
