About the role

We are looking for a Senior Consultant based in Canberra ideally with forensic investigations or advisory experience in the areas of fraud, corruption and workplace misconduct investigations. You may also have a background in audit or a related discipline and are looking for a career change.

The successful candidate will become a member of Deloitte Forensic and the role will involve:

• Assisting with the delivery of investigation services to public sector and corporate clients and their legal representatives, where appropriate
• Executing on complex investigations in a team engaged to conduct investigations and reports of varying types
• Supporting teams delivering advisory services to clients focused on fraud, corruption, misconduct or critical infrastructure security
• Working in high performing teams that draw on different skills where appropriate, including forensic technology and data analytics.

About you

A successful candidate will ideally have:

• Previous work experience involving forensic investigations or advisory
• Tertiary qualification
• CA/CPA qualified desirable but not essential
• Advanced proficiency with relevant software (including Microsoft Office, PowerPoint)
• Well developed report writing skills and a keen attention to detail
• Highly developed leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong investigative, analytical, conceptual thinking and problem solving skills
• Demonstrated practical commercial business acumen
• Proven and reliable project management and project delivery skills
• A desire to make a contribution to business development
• A strong sense of professional curiosity and purpose
• A willingness to learn and be naturally enthusiastic and collaborative in teams
