As a Senior Consultant, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of assurance engagements across major government programs. You'll work closely with Managers and Directors, contributing to planning, execution, and reporting activities that help our clients improve delivery outcomes.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the planning and delivery of project and program assurance engagements.
- Conducting stakeholder interviews and facilitating workshops to gather insights.
- Analysing delivery risks and synthesising findings into clear, actionable recommendations.
- Preparing high-quality reports and presentations for senior stakeholders.
- Supervising and coaching junior team members, contributing to their development.
- Building your knowledge of KPMG's service offerings and the broader government sector.
- Participating in internal initiatives and professional development activities.
You'll bring:
- Experience in project or program management / assurance, ideally in government or consulting environments.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders and present ideas effectively.
- A collaborative mindset and a passion for solving complex problems.
- Attention to detail and a structured approach to analysis.
- A growth mindset and commitment to continuous learning.
- Familiarity with delivery frameworks such as PRINCE2, MSP, or Agile (desirable).
- A passion for innovation and continually learning about emerging tech and AI.
