Role Description
- This role is available between 3-5 days per week, depending on the right applicants.
- The role is based in Melbourne, with most days worked remotely and ad hoc days on site for clients when required.
What You'll Do
- Support end-to-end delivery of PR campaigns across consumer, FMCG and lifestyle clients, from ideation through to execution.
- Research, write and pitch compelling stories, press releases, opinion pieces and other content that get noticed.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, influencers and brand stakeholders.
- Monitor media coverage, trends and insights and help surface opportunities for clients.
- Assist with project logistics such as timelines, trackers, client updates and reporting to keep things on track.
- Create employee generated content at events/activations/BTS
- Work closely with agency leaders and contribute ideas in brainstorms and help bring creative campaigns to life.
- Jump in wherever needed. This is an agency role, so flexibility and ownership count.
What You'll Bring
- Up to 5 years of experience in PR, communications or media (in-house or agency).
- Strong writing skills and a knack for crafting stories that engage media and audiences.
- A genuine interest in consumer brands, especially within the FMCG or lifestyle space.
- Proactive and organised, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Confidence in building and maintaining relationships with media and clients.
- A collaborative mindset and a willingness to work across the team to deliver excellent results.
- Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
