We are currently seeking a People & Culture and Return to Work Coordinator to join our growing team. In this role, you will support the organisation in fostering a positive workplace culture, champion employee wellbeing, and coordinate effective return-to-work plans to support our people through their recovery journey.

This is a unique opportunity for a compassionate, organised, and people-focused professional who thrives on making a meaningful impact across the employee lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Coordinate and implement tailored Return to Work plans, ensuring that employees return to work safely and with the right supports in place
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders including medical professionals and insurers to support recovery and reintegration
  • Support and promote employee wellbeing initiatives, including EAP promotion, wellness campaigns, staff engagement programs and participate in staff safety comittees
  • Contribute to a positive organisational culture by supporting people and culture programs such as onboarding, recognition, development, and engagement
  • Attend medical appointments with returning employees (where appropriate) and communicate suitable duties to managers
  • Maintain accurate records, monitor progress, and provide regular updates to key stakeholders
  • Support the broader People & Culture team with people-related projects and communication
  • Foster a culture of inclusion, respect, and continuous improvement throughout the organisation

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience in a Return to Work Coordinator, HR, or People & Culture role
  • A genuine passion for supporting others and promoting positive workplace experiences
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build trust
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Attention to detail and a solutions-focused mindset
  • Friendly, professional demeanour and a commitment to excellent internal customer service

This role is full-time, Monday to Friday and is based in Bathurst.
