About the business

We are looking for an energetic and passionate Events Co-Ordinator for a unique and exciting venue. Our events range from Weddings, Christmas parties, Birthdays all the way down to kids parties.

With Bowling, Mini golf, Virtual reality, Dodgem cars, Arcades, Cocktail bar, craft beer bar and 150 seater Diner.

About the role

  • We are proud of our team and are looking for an excellent team leader and role model to bring out the best in our people, maintain great workplace culture, impart knowledge and ensure the highest standards are met. To do this means some solid time needs to be spent on planning and organising events as well as guiding staff and being visible during the large adult events.
  • You will work alongside and liaise with our fantastic head chef, sectional managers and Centre manager to ensure that our events continue to create fun and memorable experiences.
  • You'll interact with guests and build a rapport (and train others to do so), provide advice, manage complaints, and continue to assess overall customer satisfaction maintaining our excellent standards.
  • You'll ensure that the events are well planned and executed seamlessly.

Skills and experience

  • Successful applicants will be assertive, energetic and have a passion events and exceptional customer service.
  • Have minimum 3+ years experience working within events.
  • Have proven leadership qualities, able to train staff and create a fun, and positive environment for the team.
  • Possess great communication and people skills and the ability to work with a team and take direction.
  • Be able to work under pressure in a fast paced environment.
  • Be experienced in coordinating and directing staff.
  • Possess an eye for presentation, detail, ambience and high time management skills.
  • Have experience in achieving sales targets and cost budgets.
  • Possess a current RSA certification.
  • Be open and available for working nights and weekends.
