The Opportunity

We are seeking a Data Analyst to join the team at Xenco to join the reliability and reporting team, supporting data-driven decision-making across maintenance and operations. The role focuses on analysing complex operational datasets, developing dashboards and performance reports, and delivering actionable insights that improve asset reliability and efficiency. It's a great opportunity for someone with strong analytical and communication skills who enjoys turning data into practical business outcomes in an industrial environment.

What the Role Entails:

  • Analyse large, complex datasets from maintenance, operations, and reliability systems
  • Identify trends, anomalies, and root causes to support reliability and performance improvements
  • Build dashboards, reports, and visualisations (Power BI / Tableau / similar)
  • Partner with engineering, maintenance, and operations stakeholders to translate insights into action
  • Develop and maintain metrics, KPIs, and forecasting models
  • Conduct ad hoc data queries and further investigations
  • Ensure data integrity, cleansing, validation, and documentation
  • Drive continuous improvement in reporting methodologies, data pipelines, and analytics processes

What You Will Need:

  • A relevant qualification (e.g. IT, Data science, or similar).
  • Previous experience in the heavy industry, ideally mining or related sectors.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g. Excel, Power BI, etc.).
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
