Your role
You'll be a part of our Disputes and Investigations Practice and work with lawyers across all of our offices. Working closely with our Partners and the wider team, you will gain exposure to the most complex work in the market. You'll have the privilege of advising clients from almost every sector, including government, mining, energy, banking, and infrastructure.
At Allens, our structure means you'll get exposure to a number of different Disputes and Investigations Partners within your practice group and a wide variety of work. We encourage our lawyers to find their niche and specialise in areas they're interested in, while building a strong foundation across their field.
Your role within our team could typically include advising clients on;
significant commercial litigation for Australia's leading ASX listed entities and for government
working on cross border litigation and restructuring for some of the world's most significant corporates
large scale corporate insolvency, restructuring and workouts for Australia's major banks and leading accounting firms
significant investigations work, including regulatory investigations and government inquiries.
This is a permanent, full-time opportunity. Hybrid working (60% in the office) is how we work however flexibility matters at Allens, so if you are seeking hybrid working or are looking for flexibility in your work, we would be happy to discuss what arrangements would work best for you.
About you
You will have:
Experience working in commercial litigation and/or corporate insolvency and restructuring at a leading Australian practice or international firm.
We are open to seeing lawyers with a commercial litigation background, a corporate insolvency background, or a combination of both
The ability to effectively manage larger matters, develop client relationships and participate in business development activities
A desire to learn, grow, network, mentor others
