About Us
At Prevail, we believe success isn't given, it's built. We stand alongside discerning customers to protect what they've created in life and business; with the same care and commitment they put into building it.
We deliver crafted insurance solutions across niche segments: High Net Worth, Specialty (specialised small business), and Lifestyle & Leisure. These are customers with unique and complex needs, and we design coverage that fits, removes friction, and takes risk off their plate.
Everything we do aims at the best experience and the best outcome for the end customer: clear processes, fast decisions, reliable coverage, and measurable results. We act with integrity, own our outcomes, and get 1% better every day, progressive, energetic, and forward-thinking by design
About the Opportunity
This role sits at the intersection of strategy, insight, and coordination. We are seeking a Strategy & Insights Specialist, who will work directly with the CEO to help shape, stress-test, and communicate the ideas that drive the business forward, while connecting with teams across the business to help turn thinking into doing.
You'll help join the dots between market trends, customer preferences, and emerging technology, so we stay sharp and ahead in the high-net-worth, lifestyle, and specialty insurance space.
You'll often sit in the room with insurer partners, data teams, and key stakeholders — listening, learning, and helping prepare the stories, materials, and follow-ups that move big ideas from concept to execution. It's a dynamic, hands-on coordination role that combines curiosity, commercial thinking, and delivery discipline.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Research & Insight – Conduct research and gather insight on market trends, customer preferences, competitor activity, and emerging risks.
- Commercial & Financial Support – Build models and scenarios to test ideas and help the CEO and leadership team make informed strategic calls.
- Strategy Coordination – Work across teams to ensure strategic projects have clear owners, deliverables, and progress tracking.
- Storytelling & Communication – Prepare presentation decks, strategy papers, and partner materials that bring ideas to life and drive engagement.
- Partner & Stakeholder Engagement – Join key meetings with insurer partners and external stakeholders; capture insights, prepare briefs, and coordinate next steps.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration – Work with Operations, Technology, and Compliance to ensure ideas are translated into actionable, measurable initiatives.
- Market & Innovation Scanning – Track developments in AI, data, and insurance innovation that can influence our growth or shape new opportunities.
Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years' experience in strategy, insight, commercial analysis, consulting, or business support. Ideally within financial services or insurance.
- Strong capability in research, market analysis and commercial insight with experience translating data into actionable recommendations.
- Proven experience in cross-functional project coordination, managing multiple stakeholders, and driving initiatives to completion.
- Excellent storytelling, presentation, and written communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including scenario modelling and interpreting financial and operational data.
- High level of commercial acumen and understanding of business drivers in insurance, high-net-worth, or specialty sectors.
- Proactive, curious, and adaptable, with a hands-on approach to strategy execution.
- Familiarity with emerging technology, data, and innovation trends in the insurance or financial services sector is highly desirable.
