Director of Business Development – Loyalty

Sydney | Enterprise Sales | Customer Engagement

We're looking for a senior sales leader to take loyalty and customer engagement to the next level.

In this role, you'll partner with some of Australia's most recognised brands to transform how they acquire, retain, and grow customer relationships. You'll bring deep expertise in loyalty and CRM, acting as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders and helping shape customer experience strategies that drive real impact.

Your focus will be the Australian market, but there's also the chance to support opportunities across APAC — working on high-profile growth initiatives in new markets.

What you'll do

  • Drive enterprise-level new business across industries like retail, financial services, telco, travel, and QSR
  • Own the full sales cycle: prospecting, pitch, negotiation, and handover
  • Act as a loyalty expert on program design, data strategy, and customer value growth
  • Build relationships with senior decision-makers across marketing, CRM, tech, and the C-suite
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create winning proposals and solutions

What we're looking for

  • 10+ years in enterprise sales within loyalty, CRM, customer engagement, or martech
  • Proven success selling complex, consultative solutions into large organisations
  • Strong knowledge of loyalty tech, data activation, and personalised marketing
  • Excellent communicator and negotiator, with influence at senior levels
  • Sydney-based and open to domestic/regional travel

Nice to have

  • Experience selling into industries like retail, banking, telco, or travel
  • Exposure to APAC markets outside Australia
  • Understanding of how loyalty connects with CDPs, media, and real-time personalisation
