About the role

Direct Chemist Outlet Langwarrin is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Pharmacy Assistant to join our team in Langwarrin, Victoria. This full-time role offers the opportunity to work in a thriving local pharmacy, providing exceptional customer service and support to our patients and the broader community.

What you'll be doing

  • Assisting the pharmacy team in the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy, including processing customer orders, stock management, and maintaining a clean and organised workspace
  • Providing friendly and knowledgeable customer service, answering queries, and responding to customer needs
  • Ensuring proper storage, handling, and dispensing of medications according to pharmacy protocols and procedures
  • Maintaining accurate and detailed records, as required
  • Participating in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with industry regulations and best practices

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience as a Pharmacy Assistant or in a customer service-oriented role, preferably within the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with patients, colleagues, and healthcare professionals in a professional and empathetic manner
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
  • A genuine interest in the pharmaceutical industry and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care
  • Completion of a Certificate III in Pharmacy or a related qualification, or a willingness to obtain this qualification
