ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a full time pharmacy assistant with administration skills to join the team.  If you like assisting patients with their healthcare needs and building rapport with our many customers, then this is the job for you.

The role involves receiving prescriptions from patients, assisting them with Pharmacy Only medicines and other health related products, assisting the pharmacists and all other aspects of stock management within a pharmacy.

Administration tasks include posting orders as well as some dispense tech duties as required. This is predominantly a customer service role.

This is a full time position, currently Monday to Friday, 8.30am-5.30pm.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

A strong working knowledge of FRED Point of Sale.

S2/3 accreditation is highly desirable. Applicants without S2/3 will be assisted to complete the course.

A willingness to take on challenges and a positive attitude are a must. We need a friendly, reliable person who can work well in a busy environment.

You will be required to be competent in all areas of a Community Pharmacy. Applicants need to be willing to use public transport to and from work.
