Let's talk about the opportunity
The purpose of this role is to work within a multi-disciplinary team to lead investigations into allegations of corrupt conduct in the performance of the Commission's principal functions.
This is a permanent, full-time position.
Annual salary is $130,000 to $144,696 (which includes overtime allowance), plus employer's contribution to superannuation (currently 12%) and annual leave loading (currently 17.5%).
A Talent Pool may also be created for future temporary or permanent positions and is valid for a period for up to 18 months

Essential requirements
Candidates will be assessed against the following requirements:
- The position requires significant experience investigating alleged serious offences, including fraud, and/or public sector misconduct.
- The position holder must have a good knowledge of the criminal law, the rules of evidence and criminal procedures and an understanding of the Independent Commission Against Corruption Act 1988.
- The position holder must have well-developed planning and organisational abilities, problem solving and analytical skills and experience using investigative analytics software.
- Demonstrated ability to write well and the ability to communicate effectively with people of diverse background, occupation, and seniority, both internal and external to the Commission.
