The Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Afternoon Shift Manager to join our manufacturing team. This role is critical in ensuring smooth operations, driving efficiency, and maintaining a safe and productive workplace during the afternoon shift.

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous supervisory or team leader experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage and motivate a team to achieve goals.
  • Sound understanding of safety, quality, and production processes.
  • Flexibility and reliability to work the afternoon shift.

What You'll Do:

  • Supervise, lead, and support the afternoon shift production team.
  • Ensure production targets, quality standards, and deadlines are met.
  • Monitor workflow, identify issues, and implement effective solutions.
  • Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with WHS requirements.
  • Provide training, coaching, and performance feedback to team members.
  • Communicate effectively with management and other shifts to maintain continuity of operations.
  • Maintain accurate production records and reporting.
