The Company

Our client is a fantastic Non-Profit organisation based in the South-Eastern Suburbs. You will be working within a friendly and collaborative Payroll Department assisting with end-end Payroll.

The Role

3 month plus contract opportunity for an experienced Payroll professional.

As Payroll Officer, you'll be responsible for managing end-to-end payroll processing for a large and diverse workforce. This role will suit someone who enjoys ownership of their work, thrives in a high-volume environment, and can work confidently within established systems and processes.

Key responsibilities include:

  • End-to-end processing of a weekly and fortnightly payroll
  • Managing payroll queries and providing timely, accurate support to employees
  • Interpreting multiple EBAs and awards (Schads)
  • Ensuring compliance with taxation and superannuation legislation
  • Assisting with reporting, reconciliations, and process improvements

Your Profile

You'll bring previous payroll experience with a strong understanding of payroll legislation and award interpretation is essential, as well as excellent communication skills and a keen eye for detail. Exposure to large payroll systems will be highly regarded.
