Our Evolution Civil Maintenance Team is seeking reliable team members to assist with safety barrier and bridge expansion joint installations - Located in Lawnton.

About The Role

The job involves but is not limited to:

  • Labourer with the view to quickly developing to a more senior position (Leading Hand) for the right candidate.
  • Assisting with setting-out of materials: unloading truck and laying out product
  • Prepare / Load / Unload of trucks for the works
  • Work Away from home - 30% of the role requires away from home work (LAHA Allowances will apply)
  • Casual Position initially. Working towards, a PPT or FT position for the right candidate.
  • This is a physical role with heavy lifting, so candidate's must be physically fit.
  • Working outdoors. Days and/or nights, so flexibility in hours and days available is key. Penalty rates will apply for weekend and night work.
  • Leadership qualities and experience with Leading crews/teams desired.
  • Ability to generate paperwork/crew documentation.
About You
  • Must have White Card
  • Truck Licence preferable (MR minimum, HR desirable)
  • Plant Tickets desirable (Skid-Steer, Excavator). Opportunity to be trained in these competencies for the right candidate.
  • Must be reliable and respectful to internal and external clients
  • Ability to work flexibly, including working away from home as required.
  • Knowledge of safe operation of basic hand and power tools
  • Ability to take direction and work effectively within a small team/crew.
  • Construction / Labourer experience
  • Willingness to learn new products/industry.
  • Safety barrier installation (advantageous but not required)
  • Bridge Expansion Joint Installation (advantageous but not required)
